Remote Fishing for Native Brook Trout - Our region is one of the last strongholds for native brook trout. We have a remote camp available to our guests. This camp has electricity, indoor plumbing, satellite TV and other comforts of home while still being the most remote point in Maine. You and your party will have your choice to fish ponds, moving water or both! These are not stocked fish! This is native brook trout fishing at its finest. Some of the water you will fish sees you and your party as the only fishermen for the year. While we do encourage catch and release but, we do not mind our guests keeping some trout for a meal or two from some of the waters that we fish. These are not huge trout. These are native brook trout. Many pricing options are available. You can combine this with a week long trip to our area as a one or two night outing. We also offer day trips to the Prestile Stream as well as half-day trips to the famous “Salmon Pool” at the outlet of Square Lake, not far from our lodge.

 

You won't have to stretch the truth if you tie in to Long Lake's trophy Salmon or Brook Trout. We're here to give a bit of advice, help, or guide you if you wish.
